Glass Half Hopeful

There was so much of me

I wanted to keep hidden

As if imperfection

Was forbidden

In your presence, I pause

Struck by your beauty

Smudged with flaws

Rawness is your duty

You changed me.

Empowering self-actualization

Molding a life–more joyful, more soulful

Away from anguish, toward elation

I finally see the glass half hopeful. 😌💓
